Philippolis Architecture...

Still at 1030km...

With my camera and shift lens on a tripod I took a walk through Philippolis. The buildings hint at a prosperous past...there is even an art deco style building that was once a bank....

I photographed the town in the late afternoon and early the next morning and  both times it was overcast. Of interest, and something that I noticed throughout my journey, was all the shops staffed by chinese...and often they are not even capable of speaking the language. One cannot help but wonder how they managed to get past the immigration authorities....
